Checks run every minute from outside our network: phone service (SIP over TLS to every SIP server), the Control panel, the API, sign-up and the website. A component is down after two failed checks in a row. Inconclusive checks (including DNS lookup failures) are unknown and excluded from uptime. Uptime counts degraded minutes as up.
